MODEL AGENCY vs. INDEPENDENT MODEL

Traditionally if you wanted to become a model you would have chosen the channel of signing up with a modelling agency/agent.

"we are seeing more and more people becoming independent models"
Although this is still the way that may people make choose to start and progress a career in modelling with the introduction of the internet we are seeing more and more people becoming independent models.

The main difference in becoming an agency model and an independent model is that an agency model has chosen an ‘agent’ who finds and assigns them modelling work and an independent model represents and seeks work for themselves.
