No.. not the movie! Just a useful guide to what needs done and when on the run up to your wedding day.
I have used this blog post to outline a rough wedding planner to help you on the run up to you big day. Many things will not apply to your own wedding but hopefully you will be able to use some of the advice.
1-1: Order wedding stationery. That includes invitations, Order or Service booklets, place cards and if your budget allows it, napkins and cake boxes. There are many options available for wedding stationery. It can be purchased from high street shops or specialist printers and within these outlets you will be able to find ranges of stationery to suit your budget. There are also further options for either having personalized stationery or designing your own. Whichever choice you make it is advisable to keep the wording simple
1-2: Order the wedding cake
1-3: Confirm all wedding arrangements, particularly with the church concerning the music, flowers, fees, bells and the order of service
1-4: Select music and book organist and/or singer
1-5: If required shop for you trousseau/going away outfit
1-6: Choose wedding rings Finalize your dress and bridesmaids’ dresses – many retailers require a minimum three months advance order
1-7: Order bouquets, headdresses, buttonholes and corsages for the bridal party
1-8: Finalize the honeymoon and consult your doctor to see if you and your partner need to have any pre holiday vaccinations and check to see if you are required to obtain visas for entry into the country

2-6: Delegate the recording of wedding acceptances to a relative
2-7: See if any guests will want to stay at the reception venue and book rooms accordingly
3-1: Purchase gifts for the groom and your attendants
3-2: Arrange the all-important hen and stag parties – have these at least two weeks before the day to allow for recovery Chase up late invitation replies and finalize guest list.
3-3: Start working on your seating plan and write place cards

3-5: Post thank you letters for presents as they arrive to avoid backlog or missing any
3-6: Take head dress to hairdresser for practice session
3-7: Collect wedding rings.
3-8: Familiarize each member of wedding party with their duties
3-9: Have final dress and headpiece fitting
3-10: Select lingerie and shoes and don’t forget to try them all on with your dress because undergarments can alter shape of your dress – you don’t want any surprises on the morning of your wedding
4-1: Get your marriage licence
