Pamela & Alden got married at High Street Presbyterian in Antrim and held their wedding reception at The Dunadry Hotel & Country Club, Templepatrick.
Having been a full time professional wedding photographer for nearly 20 years (I know - before you say it I don't look old enough!) there is not much I have not seen at a wedding - but this was the first time a groom turned up to the church in a lorry - with a ribbon on it! I have no idea why but it looked class!
Pamela and Alden had spent a lot of time planning their wedding and made a really special effort when it came to the photography. Arrangements where in place at the Groom's family farm to have straw bales left in a field, together with a vintage tractor - all we needed was the weather and it was set to be a fantastic opportunity to capture some unique wedding images.
The morning of the wedding was very dull, overcast with a little hint of rain in the air. But before long it all cleared and the day turned out to be beautiful and the sky looked amazing.
The reception was in the Dunadry Hotel, Templepatrick, another one of my favourite reception locations and wedding guests where treated to the mellow sounds of a Jazz band during the remainder of the photo shoot. A fantastic atmosphere...
It was a pleasure working with Pamela and Alden - a lovely couple - Pamela took great delighted in making me feel very old telling me that I had photographed her at a wedding many years ago when she was a flower girl! Thanks Pamela!
Here is their short wedding slideshow....
