The wedding slideshow for Adele & Mark from earlier this month. They got married at the Church of The Good Shepherd, Belfast and afterwards held a reception at Belfast Castle.
The beautiful Church of The Good Shepherd on the Ormeau Road in Belfast was the venue for the wedding of Adele and Mark.
I first met Adele and Mark at a wedding earlier this year - in fact - they called at the to book their wedding photography and then announced they where guests at the wedding I was photographing the following day - no pressure then!
The Church really is beautiful and makes a fantastic back drop for the wedding photographs. Some of my favourite shots of the day are in the chapel taken just after the wedding ceremony.
It was then off to Belfast Castle, another fantastic location for wedding photographs. The guests had a treat as Adele and Mark had arranged a vintage Belfast bus to transport them from the Church to the Castle.
The photo shoot went really well, as I said earlier, Belfast Castle is a perfect back drop for wedding photographs. That was until the midgie attack - there where millions of them!! Everybody was scratching and fidgeting as they swarmed all around us! And the funny thing was, a couple of days later when I was editing the images I couldn't help but scratch! Even typing this I am fighting the urge to scratch my head! Funny how an image can provoke memories...
Apart from that the day went really well and Mark and Adele looked brilliant and where a pleasure to work with.
Here is their short wedding photography slideshow.
ps. A quick plug for the wonderful flowers by Norma Craig - another fantastic job Norma.
