Wedding & Portrait Photographer Northern Ireland

My blog in December mentioned that some of my wedding images had reached the final of the Irish Professional Photographers Association, RSA Insurance, National Photographic awards 2010. Sunday night saw the announcement of the winners at a Gala Black Tie Dinner at the Ballymascanlon House Hotel, Dundalk.

Unfortunately, my images didn't win on this occasion. The standard of the winning images was simply brilliant, some of the highest quality work I have seen entered into competitions, a fact that was mentioned by International photographic judge Dennis Hylander FMPA who spoke at the event. The standard of work from professional photographers in Ireland ranks amongst the highest in Europe.

Peter O’Donnell was awarded the IPPA/ RSA Professional Photographer of the Year 2010 with a simply stunning Landscape portfolio.

I am pictured below with my wife Patricia receiving my Certificate of Excellence from my good friend and President of the Irish Professional Photographers Association, Paddy Clarke.
